Cooling temperature control system of sand mill

Due to the fact that the grinding temperature inside the sand mill cannot exceed 65 degrees during operation, exceeding the protective temperature of the sand mill will cause the temperature switch to operate and the sand mill will automatically shut down for protection, thereby affecting production efficiency. If the internal temperature of the grinding machine is too low, it will cause the viscosity of the grinding slurry to be too high, making the motor unable to drive and possibly causing the grinding motor to burn out. The inevitability of matching the cooling system with the sand mill is evident.


The cooling system of Langling sand mill plays the following role in the sand grinding process:


1. Effectively control slurry dehydration. Most of the energy consumed by grinding is converted into thermal energy, which increases the temperature of the air and materials. For ball mills, excessive internal temperature in the grinding chamber will lead to slurry dehydration, which has an adverse impact on the setting time and strength of the slurry. The cooling system of Takagawa Sand Mill can avoid this phenomenon.


2. During the sand grinding process, the surface of the slurry forms an air film due to the adsorption of a portion of air, which hinders the electrostatic interaction between particles and avoids the adsorption and condensation of the particle surface. But when the temperature exceeds 100 ℃, the air film adsorbed on the surface of the particles is destroyed, and adsorption agglomeration is formed between particles and between particles, as well as between particles and the grinding material lining plate under electrostatic action, which plays a buffering role in grinding and reduces grinding efficiency. This effect increases with the increase of the specific surface area of the product and the temperature inside the mill. Therefore, water cooling can improve grinding efficiency.


3. Due to the fact that when grinding cement, the temperature at which the material enters the grinding process is generally higher than when grinding raw materials, and the product fineness is also relatively fine. Therefore, the temperature inside the mill is relatively high. If not cooled, the temperature of the cylinder will be too high. On the one hand, it will cause the gap between the lining plates to become smaller due to thermal expansion. In severe cases, the lining plates will collapse and protrude, causing the screws on the lining plates to break. On the other hand, the temperature of the cylinder will also be transmitted to the hollow shaft, causing the temperature of the hollow shaft to be too high and causing equipment accidents. Therefore, water cooling will improve the safe operation of the equipment.
