Generally speaking, the cleaning of sand grinding machines requires a lot of solvents and is difficult to clean, which has a significant impact on the color purity of the next grinding color paste, leading to inaccurate color mixing formula of the paint, seriously affecting the color mixing efficiency of color mixing personnel and the accuracy of color mixing products, resulting in color difference in the production products.
In order to thoroughly and quickly clean the sanding machine, we first remind everyone to pay attention to the sequence of color changes. When arranging production, we should try to arrange the color slurry from light to deep. This saves time and solvents, and avoids directly changing from black to yellow or light colors.
When cleaning the sand mill, it is necessary to rinse the sand mill with resin solution of the current color paste until there is no current color paste, and then rinse the sand mill with a small amount of S02 solvent. Collect the cleaned colored base material and cleaning solvent, and add them back to the color paste as the base material for grinding next time.
During this process, do not forget to check if there is a solvent leakage valve at the front cover plate of the sand mill. If not, notify the machine repair to install a valve and open the valve to release the residual solvent inside the cylinder, in order to facilitate color change. When opening the valve to discharge solvent, you can cover the discharge port tightly with your hand, allowing the diaphragm pump to pressurize the barrel, and the residual liquid can be discharged from the solvent discharge valve faster and cleaner.
