Precautions for maintenance and disassembly of nano sand mill ceramics
1. Attention to cooling, as conventional ceramics, especially zirconia, ceramic cast structural components or ceramic barrels, require chilled water for cooling due to their thermal conductivity being 1/4 that of metallic iron.
2. When disassembling the ceramic end cover, special attention should be paid to its fragility. When disassembling the bolts, diagonal disassembly should be carried out to avoid ceramic fracture caused by stress concentration. Horizontal extraction is required during disassembly.
3. During installation, apply a small amount of lithium based lubricating grease to the installation site. The bolt holes and end cover sealing surfaces should be free of any zirconium balls or impurities, and tighten diagonally with a torque wrench.
4. When the wear of the ceramic rotor pins in the grinding chamber exceeds 2/3, it is necessary to replace the energy transmission rotor, otherwise the grinding efficiency and particle size will be greatly reduced. The time of rotor wear is related to the original particle size of the grinding material, material hardness, rotor end speed, and the filling density and hardness of the grinding medium.
