Interpretation of the Debugging Steps for a Horizontal Sand Mill

Horizontal sand mills have gained increasing popularity among industry users due to their excellent sealing, heat dissipation, and high production capacity. So how to debug it:
1. First startup (debugging)
After the installation of the equipment is completed, it should be debugged, and the specific steps are as follows:
(1) Add solvent or lubricating oil that is miscible with the material to the mechanical seal chamber of the horizontal sand mill.
(2) Check whether each circuit of the equipment is consistent with the electrical wiring diagram.
(3) Open the water supply valve and observe if the water consumption meets the usage requirements.
(4) Open the air supply valve.
(5) Add grinding medium
Open one or two sanding port covers on the upper front of the grinding cylinder, and add screened grinding media. The filling amount, particle size, and material can be determined by referring to recommendations or user requirements for product quality.
(6) Adjust the control range of the instrument.
(7) Start the host and feed pump, clean the cylinder and pipeline with water or solvent, and then carry out the feeding operation. The feeding rate of the feed pump should be determined based on the quality requirements of the product and the set number of grinding cycles.
Reminder: Before starting the horizontal sand mill, we first need to check whether the lubricating oil level or solvent level is normal. Then, we need to check whether the tightness of the V-belt is appropriate. For sand mills that have been used for a long time, it is necessary to open the rear casing and manually drive the belt pulley to rotate for 3-4 turns before running.
