During the production of the sand mill, the material temperature is too high, and the following reasons should be checked:
1. Is the cooling water supply for the sand mill sufficient? The lack of pressure or low flow rate in the cooling water outlet of the sand mill may be due to insufficient cooling water supply.
2. Is the cooling water temperature of the sand mill ≤ 10 ℃? Recommended cooling water for sand mill ≤ 10 ℃
3. Is there too much grinding beads in the sand mill? Reduce the grinding beads appropriately without affecting the efficiency of the grinding material.
4. Are the raw materials too hard? If the raw material is too hard, the kinetic energy generated by the grinding beads when opening the agglomerate will be greater, and the temperature will correspondingly increase.
5. Is the discharge flow rate of the sand mill too high? When the discharge flow rate of the sand mill is too high, the feed pressure will also increase, which will push the dense stacking of grinding beads at the discharge end, forming local high temperatures and affecting the material temperature. At this point, the discharge flow should be appropriately reduced.
6. Is the ambient temperature at the production site high? During summer production, the temperature of the grinding materials in the sand mill is usually higher than in winter.
7. Is the material quantity too low? The production capacity and ingredient quantity of different sand mill models vary. If there is too little material to grind and there is a high temperature at the beginning of grinding, the temperature will continue to increase when entering the sand mill for grinding the second time. In this situation, it is usually recommended to have a suitable proportion of materials and use two pullers, one in and one out, to separate them. This is beneficial for the material to dissipate heat on its own after being discharged from the sand mill. Customers with good conditions can also use materials with cooling water circulation for cylinder drawing.
