How to select sanders with different rotor structures?

Many industry friends know that sand mills are used for wet grinding of chemical liquid products. They are the most adaptable, advanced, and efficient grinding equipment for materials, with the narrowest grinding chamber, the smallest lever clearance, and the densest grinding energy. Coupled with high-performance cooling systems and automatic control systems, they can achieve continuous processing and discharge of materials. There are many kinds of rotor structures of sand mill, mainly blue type, disc type, turbine type, rod pin type, etc.
The blue sand grinder is composed of an electrical cabinet, a rotating shaft, a grinder, pump blades, a dispersing disc, and a grinding basket filled with high-strength grinding media. During operation, the rotating shaft and the grinder, pump blades, and dispersion plate on the rotating shaft rotate at high speed. The grinder drives the grinding medium to produce strong shear and collision with the material, achieving the function of grinding the material and dispersion polymer. At the same time, the ground material is sucked out of the grinding basket under the strong suction of the pump blades, and then dispersed by the dispersion plate, thus achieving an ideal grinding effect in a short period of time. Widely used in industries such as ink, color paste, dyes, coatings, etc., it has the characteristics of energy conservation, high efficiency, and convenient operation and maintenance. However, the fineness that this type of sand grinder can achieve is limited, usually reaching tens of micrometers is already the limit.
Blue sand grinder
A disc sanding machine is a rotating spindle inside the cylinder that is equipped with multiple layers of discs. When the spindle rotates, the grinding medium is driven by the rotating disc to grind and press. The slurry entering the cylinder refines the solid material and the qualified slurry flows out through the filtering gap or sieve hole smaller than the particle size of the grinding medium. The cylinder body is equipped with cooling or heating devices to prevent a large amount of heat generated by the friction between materials, grinding media, and discs inside the cylinder from affecting product quality, or reducing the fluidity of the feed slurry due to condensation, which may affect the grinding efficiency. This type of sand grinder is suitable for grinding dyes, pigments, paint coatings, drugs, and other suspensions or suspensions. The fineness that can be achieved by grinding is limited, usually reaching a few microns is already the limit.
Disc sander rotor
A turbo sand mill is a device that pumps the pre diluted and stirred liquid solid mixed raw materials into the cylinder, and the main shaft drives the dispersion turbine to rotate at high speed, stirring the grinding medium inside the cylinder to generate swirling and radial motion, thereby forcibly grinding and dispersing the product to achieve the specified fineness and color saturation. Turbine sand mills are widely used for ultrafine grinding and dispersion of solid-liquid mixed products in industries such as low to medium viscosity coatings, dyes, paints, pharmaceuticals, magnetic powders, ferrites, photosensitive films, pesticides, papermaking, and cosmetics. The grinding fineness of a turbo sand mill can generally reach around a few hundred nanometers.

The rod pin type sander is currently a more commonly used type of sander in the market. Feed the premixed raw materials into the grinding tank of the host machine, and fill the grinding tank with appropriate grinding media, such as glass bead, which rotate at high speed through the dispersion blades to give the grinding media enough kinetic energy to collide with the dispersed particles to generate shear force, so as to achieve the dispersion effect. Then, the dispersed materials and the grinding media are separated and discharged by a special separation device. The rod pin type high-efficiency grinding structure is suitable for nano scale grinding, high flow continuous and cyclic production. After production, the production efficiency can be increased by 30-50%. It is widely used in industries such as nano new materials, magnetic materials, electronic ceramics, ceramic ink, lithium iron phosphate, alumina, etc.
